More female degradation and distress.
Lately when female characters are raped on daytime television, the majority of them are bad girls in desperate need of a whitewash. However, in Eden's case, she was recently married and thoroughly happy, except for some conception problems and a deranged fan. Cruz was called out of the house for police business and Eden was left alone. This brief clip is of Cruz returning home after Eden's attack. I couldn't bear to post the actual crime.
Fast forward a few months... after carrying a child that both Cruz and Eden feared was fathered by her rapist, Eden, with Cruz's help delivered Adriana. A paternity test determined that Cruz was Adriana's father. But despite Cruz having the Santa Barbara police department guard Eden and Adriana, Adriana was abducted by Eden's rapist.
