... because that 80 year old fool is incapable of making anything better.
So on Monday, I posted that I would try to avoid all things Jackson. And I had every intention on following through on that.
But I had to log off of Blogger. I had to walk into my bedroom. I had to look at my television set which was on CNN. And Joe Jackson had to be on Larry King Live, doing his level best to make himself look worse, although it wasn't his intention.
This man has no clue how he comes across. But the thing that stuck out, besides that Leonard Rowe, who came across as so shadetree that Bernie Madoff would thank him for being a diversion, was that Joe Jackson claimed that he met with Michael a few weeks before his death.
The subject of the meeting? Michael's money for the This Is It tour.
Not an intervention for Michael's drug abuse.
It was about MONEY.
This flies in the face of Joe's assertion that if he could get to Michael physically, he would've done anything to stop Michael from destroying himself with drugs.
But it was all about Michael getting paid in pounds, not dollars.
Joe Jackson's greed and self-interest is not a laughing matter. If anything, this dude's behavior continues to fill in the blanks regarding MJ's neuroses. However, there were some laughs to be had, thanks to Tom Joyner and J. Anthony Brown. Although I still contend that Joe Jackson looks like Hooch, Tom and J., rather astutely, pointed out his resemblance to Boris Badenov from the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons.
Judge for yourself.
