Mason - the black sheep (or is he?)

Did I mention that Lane Davies' Mason was the balls?

This character had chemistry with nearly every character on the Santa Barbara landscape. But some of the best scenes involved Mason with his half-siblings - Eden, Kelly and Ted.

Eden was the one who called out Mason when he was really wallowing in his black sheep status. And yet, there was a keener and more intimate understanding between the two.

Kelly and Mason's relationship was that of Mason being overprotective and controlling - Kelly often challenged his perceived control over her.

And finally, probably my favorite relationship - Mason and Ted. They were in the same boat - CC's sons, post golden boy Channing's death. Both had a lot of expectations thrust upon them, but despite that, there is a friendship between these two. And some humor.
