Julia Roberts lives a very private life so she is being punished via the box office? This is according to ABC News, the brilliant brain trust who attempted to paint Angelina Jolie as the patron saint of procreation. So here ABC News goes again, insinuating Angelina Jolie into a 'crisis' that isn't of her making: Julia Roberts' movie came in at #3.
Per usual, they pulled Terd Casablanca out of his mothballs to comment on the psyche of Angelina Jolie; nevermind that he hasn't had a conversation with the star since 2004, when he relayed that Angelina's next prospective suitor/lover would be a relief worker. Of course, Angelina wound up in the arms of Brad Pitt.
And adopted her second child.
And then had her first biological child.
And adopted again.
And had a set of twins.
All of which was accomplished with Brad Pitt, despite Terd's assertions that Brad and Angelina would not last past Shiloh's first steps.
And yet, there Terd was, discussing how superior Julia is because she doesn't grab headlines in the ways that Angelina does. But Terd... aren't you attempting to grab headlines by inserting Angelina into a conversation where she doesn't belong? I'm pretty sure that there was a legitimate news article about how Angelina has the box office power of Will, Johnny, and her man, Brad. Her ability to do action was cited as one of the reasons why she is the top actress in Hollywood. And yet there was no attempt to discuss why Julia Roberts may be on the decline.
Back in the day, Julia Roberts made many a tabloid cover. Got engaged to Keifer and ditched him for his bud, Jason Patric. Lyle Lovett. Matthew Perry. Benjamin Bratt. The overlap between when her current husband took up with her and took off from his ex-wife.
Oprah appearances.
Motherhood.
Her cussing out paparazzi photogs.
Failing on Broadway.
And pissing at Freidman for a perceived bad review for the afor mentioned Broadway play.
Maybe the public has achieved a sufficient distance to see Julia Roberts in a more objective light.
Cold.
Smug.
Hypocritical.
A girl's girl versus being a woman.
Naw... it's all Angelina's fault!!
