Coincidentally...

In Touch - this isn't the first time Brad Pitt had to care for his children while Angelina Jolie was working and/or unavailable.

• Fall 2005 - Watched Maddox and newly adopted Zahara while Angelina filmed The Good Shepherd
• Fall 2006 - Watched Maddox, Zahara, and newborn Shiloh while Angelina filmed A Mighty Heart in Mumbai
• Spring 2007 - Watched Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh and newly adopted Pax while Angelina filmed Wanted in Prague
  
• Summer 2007 - Watched Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, and Pax while Angelina was in Iraq for the UNHCR
• Fall 2007 - Watched Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh and Pax while Angelina filmed Changeling in LA.
• 2008 - Watched Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh and Pax while Angelina was in Iraq (again); and during the weeks Angelina was in a Nice hospital getting doctor-prescribed bedrest prior to having Knox and Vivienne

Unless Knox and Vivienne are complete hellions in Johnny Jumpers, Brad, more than likely, has caring for toddlers/school-aged children down to a science.

And James usually visits the family in the spring/summer, no matter where the family is based:

• 2006 - Visited the family while they were in Namibia awaiting Shiloh's birth (this was the trip when James took pictures which were later stolen and distributed to blogs by some Best Buy employees)
• 2007 - Visited the family in Prague around his, Angelina, and their late mother's birthdays
• 2008 - Visited the family in France mere weeks before Angelina gave birth in July

Not that In Touch cares, given that they cater to those who aren't very astute in the first place.
