I hope you were watching last Thursday's Oprah, Tiger.

Because Oprah's interview with Jay Leno is further proof that men, in tight PR situations, should STFU.

Despite Oprah prefacing that she was on Leno's side, he still looked like a heartless, robotic jerk with a convenient voicebox.

So in 2004, an NBC exec swung by your office and asked you to retire in order to make room for Conan. You didn't like it, but said okay anyway. So concerned about 'his' people's jobs and yet, couldn't open his trap in '04 to prevent Conan's people from relocating across the country for what amounted to a 7 month gig in '09.

You see, this is why I don't like celebs with 'nice guy/girl' images - they are usually the biggest purse snatchers and grifters. But then again, anyone who believed that Leno was a nice guy was a chump anyway. The dude always came across as removed, not that I ever needed a late night talk show host to be an attentive Daddy figure. But still... to feel nothing about how things went down simply because his fingerprints were smudged by numerous other dumb@$$ed NBC execs... hell, I even feel bad when politicians I hate lose elections. Mainly, it's about the recognition that time and emotions were invested into something that ultimately didn't work out. And yet, Leno, who claims to be friends with Conan, couldn't muster up anything?

It's very telling, honestly, and I doubt that the MJ curse has anything to do with this. Leno is a douchebag, plain and simple. However, I hope that Oprah's participation in this attempted whitewash will bite her in the @$$.

Seriously... she wants 'her' audience to understand how television ratings work, i.e. sometimes, people aren't a good fit and they have to take a walk, and yet, she continues to coddle the likes of Jennifer Aniston, who had a marriage that wasn't a good fit and her ex-husband had to take a walk?

B*tch, please get some proportion!
